Light-, Medium- and Heavy-duty Slat Feeder

Slat feeder, widely used in mine, building materials, coaling and other fields, is the continuous transport machinery. It is mainly used in continuously and evenly feeding crushing machine or other transport equipment from storage bin or transferring machine. The operation line is horizontal or sloping line, with the safest at 25 degrees inclination. Slat feeder can be classified into three types in terms of granule size and volume: light-, medium-and heavy-duty.
 Light-duty slat feeder is suitable for transporting block materials with the feeding granules below 160mm. It can be instilled in a horizontal or vertical position, with the maximum upward inclination at 25 degrees. Generally, it applies to materials with bulk density below 1200kg/m³, block weight below 140kg, and temperature under 150℃.
Medium-duty slat feeder is suitable for transporting block materials with the feeding granules below 400mm. It can be instilled in a horizontal or vertical position, with the maximum upward inclination at 25 degrees. Generally, it applies to materials with bulk density below 2400kg/m³ , block weight below 500kg, and temperature under 150℃. Decompression device should be installed if it’s more than 2m at the entrance of the storage bin.
Heavy-duty slat feeder is mainly used in continuously and evenly feeding crushing machine, dispensing equipment or transportation equipment from storage bin and transferring hopper; and transferring all kinds of heavy block materials and abrasive bulk materials. Generally, it applies to materials with bulk density below 3000kg/m³, granule size below 1750mm, block weight below 1000kg, and temperature under 400℃. Heavy-duty slat feeder is one of the important and indispensable equipment in mineral and raw material handling and continuous production process. It can be instilled in a horizontal or vertical position, with the maximum upward inclination at 20 degrees. In case that materials might hit the feeding machine, the storage bin should not be emptied. It adopted many advanced technologies: the instantaneous overload electric automatic protection, large rations, large torques, hard-toothed gear with the function of overload protection and direct drive gear reducer and seamless connection. Pulling chain is high-intensity bulldozer using caterpillar chain (also known as tank chain).
Slat feeder, according to different driving modes, can be divided into right driving, left driving and dual driving. Right driving follows the direction of materials and its driving system is at the right of the machine, while the opposite is called left driving.
